Instec's HS1200 Gastight heating stage can heat samples to 1150°C* and are ideal for the study of ceramics, metallurgy, geology and high temperature materials. Electrical feedthroughs and custom sample areas are also available upon request. The HS1200G's gas-tight sample chamber helps to prevent sample oxidation at high temperatures, and the rotatable observation window ensures a clear line of sight despite off-gassing and vaporization.
*Disclaimer: The HS1200G is a high-power stage that radiates heat through IR light and convection. While all HS1200G models include integrated lid and frame cooling, optical insruments used at or near the minimum working distance of 9mm may experience signifigant indirect heating. Be sure to consult with your instrument manufacturer to undertsand the temperature limitations of your optics. If indirect heating is a concern for your instrument, blowing cool air across the optics is reccomended. Upgraded IR reflection windows may also be used to reduce indirect heating.

HS1200G Base-Model Options
Add-on options for the HS1200G base model are listed below. These items can be added at any time, and can even be installed by the end-user in the field.
Mounting Adaptor Mounting adaptors allow the HS1200G to be easily mounted onto your optical instrument of choice. All HS1200G models include side-mounted L-brackets and tapped holes on the base for easy mounting onto any instrument. Optional mounting adaptors are available for Instec's TPM-CX40, Olympus, Leica, or many more microscope models. For the full list of mounting adaptors, contact sales@instec.com. Enviromental Control Ports With its gas-tight chamber, the HS1200G is capable of positive pressure gas-purge up to 0.5 Bar or evacuation down to 1 mBar. For your convenience, multiple enviromental control port configurations are available including stainless steel quick connect fittings perfect for standard flexible tubing, or KF16 SS bellows for use with vacuum equipment or rigid stainless steel tubing. | |
