ABOUT
Benchtop workhorses for thermal control in any application
-190°C – 600°C depending on model
Standard square plates from 50 mm to 300 mm
Instec Benchtop thermal plates are versatile tools for general-purpose temperature control applications. Perform experiments under programmable precision temperature control from -190°C – 600°C depending on the model. Standard square plates from 50 mm to 300 mm, with custom sizes available by request.
Applications include general-purpose temperature control, biology, additive manufacturing, spectroscopy, controlled temperature curing, and much more!
Benchtop plates with gastight covers are also available for applications requiring condensation prevention measures such as inert gas purge, or higher temperature uniformity.

* While Sub-ambient LN2 cooling is possible with open-faced thermal plates, condensation will form when cooling below 0ºC for extended periods of time. It is reccomended to use a gastight lid and an inert gas purge to prevent condensation, or to use the open-face thermal plate in a low-humidity enviroment such as a glove box.
