Specialty thermal stage for magneto-optic Kerr measurements. This stage is specifically designed to for a narrow magnetic pole gap on the sides of the sample while providing optical access. Electrical measurements are made via 4x SMA feedthroughs which connect to an aluminum PCB. Samples are wirebonded to the PCB, grantly electrical connection and superior thermal performance due to the central cutout for sample mounting.
PCBs are custom made and optional, with Instec supplying based upon customer's design on a case-by-case basis.

Specialty Features
Specialized non-magnetic vacuum chamber design allows access of adjustable magnets.
Thermal plate sits very low in chamber to allow access of magnet from below in addition to the sides of sample.
4x SMA feedthroughs
Optional customized aluminum PCB with ribbon cable. Samples can be wirebonded to PCB and a central cutout allows direct thermal conduction to sample.
