This HS1200G-MP+ is a customizable benchtop probing stage with the ability to heat up to 1200°C. The ceramic heating block has a 2mm transmission aperture ideal for transmission microscopy or spectroscopy with simultaneous temperature control and electrical testing. The gas-tight chamber can be purge with inert gas to prevent oxidation or to control off-gassing. An optional upgrade for vacuum operation (10^-3 mBar) is available.
Four independent coaxial electrical feedthroughs connect to Pogo pin terminals inside the chamber for easy connection to wire bonded samples. With some customization, adjustable electrical probers can be substituted for the pogo pins. Stainless steel sample clips hold the sample securely in place on the ceramic thermal block. The stage has an overall thickness of 50mm including the frame-cooling water jackets, making it compatible with a number of optical analysis tools.
Note: the high-temperature thermal block radiates significant amounts of heat outwards from the optical window. Optics placed close to the optical window should be appropriately rated for the temperature and protected with water or air cooling.
