The M81 Source Measurement Unit is a powerful simultaneous source module that is compatible with any Instec thermal probing stage or chuck. With between 1 to 3 source modules and 1 to 3 measurement modules, the M81 is ideal for Van der Pauw, four-point probing, Hall Bar, and more.
The M81 replaces multi-system setups by combining DC and AC sourcing along with DC and AC measurement and including a lock-in's level of sensitivity peformance.
The M81 is a powerful sourcing measurement tool with options for 2, 4, and 6 total electrical channels as demonstrated in the table below:

The M81's touchscreen front display allows for simple independent setup of each module’s output and input parameters. Range, amplitudes, frequencies, and filters as well as a variety of measurement settings are easily adjustable during experiments. Collecting multiple measurements as a source is ramped or parameters like temperature or magnetic field are changed is simple using the InstecApp which has been integrated with Lake Shore's native MeasureLINK software.
