DESCRIPTION
This customized HCS302GXY+ demonstrates a simple but meaningful set of customizations available for Instec hotstages. In addition to sample temperature control up from -196°C (cooling via optional LN2 cooling system) to 400°C and two-axis sample positioning, this stage has 4 coaxial BNC feedthroughs which connnect to an internal screw terminal block. The screw terminal block can be used to connect additional temperature sensors, probing connections for material characterization, or LC cell electrode drivers. The gas-tight sample chamber allows for purging of inert dry gas for prevention of oxidation or condensation when cooling.
