DESCRIPTION
This customized HCP408SG+ was designed to provide temperature control of extra large samples with high uniformity thanks to its unique air pre-heating capabilities. During operation, air is circulated through the heating block before being passed over the sample, providing high-uniformity temperature control. The plate has a gas-tight lid with a massive 200mm by 200mm observation window and two gas-tight feedthroughs for adding additional temperature sensors. The frame has full liquid cooling capabilities, ensuring the frame stays close to room temperatures even when operating at 400°C. Liquid nitrogen cooling ports make the system compatible with Instec's LN2-P cooling system, expanding the temperature range down to -80°C.
