DESCRIPTION
This customized TP108G+ is a thermoelectric powered heating and cooling plate capable of operation from -20°C to 160°C. This plate was customized to accomodate taller samples via a taller gas-tight lid and rectangular window. The customer also requested an additional lid that could be modified in the future to accept a variety of unique feedthroughs. It also has two feedthrough ports in the base for adding external thermocouples or KF vaccum flanges for light evacuation. Mounting holes on the sides and bottom, in conjuction with right-angle brackets, allow the plate to be eaily mounted on a variety of work surfaces or instruments. Quick-connect gas-purge connections allow the chamber to be purged with dry inert gas, preventing condensation on the sample during operation below 0°C.
