DESCRIPTION
This uniquely customized HP1000G was designed for a speciallized application. This stage has 4-sided optical access, including two huge 45 degree viewing angle apertures on both the top and bottom faces. The stage also has a specially designed feedthrough to accomodate SiC capillary tubes. The stage has a phenominal upper temperature limit of 1000 °C, allowing for IR measurments of a wide array of materials. To accomodate the 1000 °C temperature limit, the stage also has full frame cooling, which ensures that the base, lid and viewing windows remain well below potentially dangerous temperatures. The Gas-tight sample area also makes it possible to purge with inert dry gas during high temperature operation, preventing oxidation. Multiple sets of mounting holes and custom made brackets make it possible to use the stage in either vertical or horizontal mounting configurations.
