ABOUT
Thermoelectric cooling stage enables cooling without use of liquid nitrogen
-40°C to 120°C
Gas-tight chamber *Vacuum-tight model available (TP102V)
Instec's TP102G/TP102V thermoelectric (Peltier) based stage offers gas-tight/vacuum-tight capabilities that can provide cooling to -40°C without using liquid nitrogen. All-electric cooling offers incredible temperature stability and precision over a moderate temperature range, great for adding precision temperature control to any optical application.
Thermoelectric heating and cooling also simplifies the system setup, reduces operating costs, and can operate indefinitley - perfect for long duration experiments at low temperatures.
The TP102V with vaccum chamber capability is ideal for freeze drying samples under microscope.
The vaccum-compatible model includes 1s stainless steel bellows + 1x machinable blank by default.
A second vacuum bellows for an external gauge or general purpose feedthrough is available by request.
The TP102G is a lower cost option for controlling the atmosphere when vacuum is not required. Gastight version includes 2x quick-connect gas ports perfect for flowing a specific amount of gas through the stage.
