Instec's HCP421V vacuum-tight hot/cold plate is designed for applications where a wide temperature range is needed and control over the atmosphere is critical. This stage features a silver heating and cooling block, providing exceptional temperature uniformity. This vacuum-tight model can be both gas purged and evacuated to low pressures to protect sensitive samples from moisture and oxygen as well as to study vacuum processes such as freeze drying.(See HCP621G for gas-tight configuration)
Options are available including XY-sample positioning and up to 8 electric feedthroughs for sample connection and probing.
