DESCRIPTION
LCFS
Instec's LCFS is an easy-to-use tool for filling two-port liquid crystal cells. The LCFS has room for filling three 12x12 cells simultaneously. The cells are held securely in a vertical position with their filling port sitting flush on a clean glass slide. Apply a small drop of liquid cystal on the glass slide near the cell opening and capillary action will draw the liquid crystal material into the cell.
This tool is exceedingly simple and easy to use, and is a great low-cost solution for LC filling!
LCVCH
Instec's LCVC vacuum filling chamber allows users to easily fill LC cells with a single opening and avoids the potential for gas bubbles in the cell active area. Empty LC cells are evacuated before being filled with LC material, providing the most complete filling of LC Cells.
The LCVCH heated vacuum filling chamber is particularly useful when working with viscous materials. The LCVCH allows users to easily control the temperature of the cell being filled, and the filler material. For viscous materials in particular, this can greatly increase the filling uniformity and efficency.
With a maximum sample temperature of 200 degrees C, this station can be used to fill single-opening cells with even the most viscous materials!
