Flagship miniature electrical probing stage
Room temperature - 1000°C
25 mm × 25 mm SiC sample area
4 independent electrical probers with manual positioning
Optional triaxial connections
Optional addtitional feedthroughs
The HP1000V-PM is a compact high-temperature probing solution ideal for electrical characterization of challenging semiconductor samples. By combining precision temperature control with electrical probing and environmental control, the HP1000V-PM offers a convenient solution for temperature dependent characterization or analysis.
The HP1000V-PM is capable of heating a 25mm x 25mm sample area up to 1000ºC with ±0.1ºC resolution and stability. Four independently positioned electrical probers are manually landed onto the sample (wire bonded samples are also supported), and can be connected to a wide range of measurement tools such as multimeters, source measurement units, or parameter analyzers. Optical access via a large optical window further expands the capabilities of the probing stage to allow spectroscopy or microscopy with simultaneous electric field application. This includes optical microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and more!
The HP1000V-PM features a compact aluminum chassis with integrated water-cooling channels, and your choice of a gastight or vacuum tight seal. Evacuation or gas purge can be used to prevent oxidation, or to simulate specific environments. Electrical probers and optical windows are easily replaceable, and can be purchased separately an any time, including variations such as larger or smaller tip diameters, IR compatible materials, and more. SMA feedthroughs are included by default (Coaxial BNC to SMA adaptor cables are included), but coaxial or triaxial BNC feedthroughs are available by request.
Included with every HP1000V-PM system are an mK2000B precision temperature controller, InstecApp companion software for data logging and visualization, and a recirculating water-cooling system for keeping the stage close to room temperature while heating. Programming SDKs for the mK2000B are available by request to interface the mK2000B with custom software, perfect for synchronizing multiple instruments together into a single software interface. Each HP1000V-PM system comes with a 1-year warranty, and technical support for the lifetime of the product.
