Liquid nitrogen suction systems provide sample cooling to as low as -190°C depending on the pump option and thermal block size. LN2 is drawn from a low-pressure Dewar through the stage/plate/chuck to cool the sample, then expelled as warm N2 gas. N2 gas output can be vented out of the area, used to defrost optical windows, or even for performing a basic gas purge. Connect the LN2-P system to an mK2000 precision temperature controller to enable precision cooling down to -196°C with ±0.1% stability. A manual control knob on the front panel allows for basic open-loop control and also regulates output for gas-purge/ window defrosting.
• Systems consist of a low-pressure Dewar, specially designed Teflon Dewar head with integrated supply line, a PS2 cooling I/O cable, silicone rubber suction tubing and the LN2-P pump itself. Thermal stages/plates/chucks and the mK2000B temperature controller are NOT included, and must be purchased separatley.

LN2-P4C 4-stage suction pump with mK2000 interface, manual control knob, universal input voltage/ frequency
LN2-P8C 8-stage suction pump with increased cooling power. Also has an mK2000 interface, manual control knob, universal input voltage/ frequency

Instec's LN2 suction cooling systems are configured to interface with the mK2000 temperature controller by default, but can also be configured to accept an analog voltage/ current to control the cooling output. Contact sales@instec.com for more information on analog input options.
Instec's pressurized LN2 cooling system is a high-power solution for precision cooling for applications with very high heat loads. The LN2-VC1L system uses an electronic cryo-valve to regulate the flow of pressurized LN2 through the sample area. Typically used with Instec thermal plates and chucks that are larger than 8 inches, the LN2-VC1L system is capable of cooling down to -196°C depending on the heat load, and supports LN2 pressure up to 2.4 Bar, making it a great option for use with pressurized LN2 supply dewars commonly found in many labs. The LN2 exhaust port can be routed outside of the room, or used as a dry purge gas.
